Girls In Madhya Pradesh Hostel Have To Defecate Near A Drain Because Of Severe Water Shortage

It has been about four years since our Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyan’, which dealt with the problem of not just cleaning the environment, but also stopping the problem of open defecation. However, the problem remains exactly as it was, and it is proved by a recent example in Madhya Pradesh.

Over 100 girl students of agovernment hostelin Madhya Pradesh are forced to defecate and bathe in the open because of water scarcity in toilets, says its warden, at a time when every state is trying to achieve the ‘Open DefecationFree (ODF)’ tag.
