Why Hogan Was In Miami, ROH Hires Mercury, All In Match Changed?

As reported yesterday, newly reinstated WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was in the same town as last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Hogan teased making his first appearance on the show in over three years before Raw began last night, but “The Hulkster” was nowhere to be seen during the entire show. It now appears that the reason why Hogan was in town last night has been revealed. A new music video for DJ Cedric Gervais is being shot in the city, and the video will apparently feature the new WWE Champion. Hogan and WWE could very well reach a deal that will see him return to the company soon, but as of right now, Hogan is still not under any sort of contract with WWE at all.

Ring of Honor has reportedly just hired an extremely valuable wrestler to their staff of trainers and producers. It has just been reported by PWInsider that former WWE Superstar Joey Mercury has now been hired by the promotion to begin working as a coach in the ROH Dojo, as well as to produce shows backstage. Mercury also worked as a trainer and a producer throughout most of the current decade in WWE before the company released him from his contract back in 2017. Mercury has been competing on the independent circuit and has also been a guest coach at the ROH Dojo in the past, but it now appears that Mercury will be remaining on board as a trainer and backstage producer for ROH going forward.
One of the matches for All In that was officially confirmed yesterday was a six-man tag team match pitting masked superstars Rey Mysterio, Bandido, and Fenix against the team of The Young Bucks and Kota Ibushi. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, this was not previously the planned match for the event as it once originally involved Kenny Omega. Dave Meltzer says that the original match for All In was set to have The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega face off against Fenix and Pentagon Jr., but since the participants of that match have been changed around quite a bit, Meltzer speculates that there could be a singles match between Pentagon and Omega during the All In event now.
