Yet Another Name Replaced In WWE Mixed Match Challenge

As we head into the semifinals of the WWE Mixed Match Challenge this Tuesday night on Facebook Watch, we have yet another last-minute change to the bracket in the eleventh hour.

After suffering a brutal attack last week on WWE RAW at the hands of Drew McIntyre, Finn Balor was unable to make this week’s shows and thus had to be replaced in the tournament. Going forward, Bayley will instead team with Apollo Crews in this week’s semifinal match-up.

There have been an unusual amount of changes to the Mixed Match Challenge during season two, with AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, Kevin Owens, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss and now Finn Balor all either being removed ahead of the tournament, or pulled and replaced while it was happening.

Tuesday night Baylor and Apollo will team up to face Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox to determine the winners from WWE RAW. The Miz and Asuka will compete against R-Truth and Carmella from the Smackdown side. The two finalists will square off this Sunday at WWE TLC, with the winners earning the #30 spots in their respective Royal Rumble matches.
